These Terms of Service govern your use of CostEat. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Questions can be sent to support@costeat.com.

Service

CostEat provides tools for restaurant costing, recipes, ingredients, preparations, purchases, suppliers, analytics, invoice extraction, and related subscription features. Features may depend on your selected plan.

Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your login credentials, and keeping account access secure. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

You retain responsibility for the business content you enter or upload. You must have the right to process that content, including invoices and supplier information. You grant CostEat permission to process your content only as needed to operate and improve the requested service.

AI-assisted features

AI invoice extraction may produce incomplete or inaccurate results. You must review extracted supplier, product, tax, and price information before relying on it for business decisions.

Subscriptions

Android subscriptions are billed through Google Play. Prices, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment handling are also subject to the applicable store terms. You can manage your Android subscription through Google Play.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, upload unlawful content, or use CostEat to violate another person's rights.

Availability and liability

We work to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results. CostEat is a business support tool and does not replace accounting, tax, legal, or food-safety advice.

Ending use

You may stop using CostEat at any time. You can delete an eligible account in the app or follow the instructions on the Account deletion page.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
